So… Why on earth am I wearing this long formal thingy???
Apparently, there is also a bunch of girls seen from behind, wearing long gowns like me.
Two weeks ago, we had this General Assembly for Marketing & Advertising students & professors. It was last February 27, 2013, on a Wednesday afternoon. At 1 pm, the event started, and then ended around 6 pm.
But before the program proper, we had the chance to experience this so-called “Red Carpet Event” wherein we get to stand on that area and pose quickly for the official photographers to take pictures of us all. By the way, that’s me with my friends, Geraldine & Alex. They were gorgeous in their black dresses right? 😀
While everybody else were preparing for the awaited event to begin, Alex and I were goofing around to kill time. 😀
Oh how I love this elegant stairway! I feel like I’m one rich mademoiselle going down my mansion’s staircase to attend some formal gathering. Imagination strikes. LOL 😀
There you go, the main entrance of the venue.
And to my surprise, these garlic-shaped lights seem familiar to me! Well, as I remembered, this venue is the same place where our Junior-Senior Promenade took place way back in high school.
And now, time to eat lunch! We were ecstatic chitchatting and enjoying the moment together. 😀
We sat at table number 34, along with other second year MKA students.
These desserts were heaven! For me, they were really savoury. 🙂
There were different stage performances by the students to entertain us, and we enjoyed them. 🙂
Afterwards, we had the awarding time for those achievers who made it to the top. 😀
Luckily, I was given this award for having the best sales manual last semester, with my partner Geraldine. I was really surprised that I am an awardee because I was not informed earlier about it. But then, despite the agitation, I am glad I received something I deserve from the hard work I had given for this project. 🙂
Those flowers are indeed beautiful!
A candid shot of mine.
Even though we are in college life already, we are glad to have this program where we felt like we were having our JS Prom again. Haha. 😀 It’s like going back to high school life once more! 😉
