I’ve always loved diners. Although, this was actually my very first time to try one out. But I’m fond of watching movies and tv series, and whenever they feature a diner, this thought always pops up in my mind – “What is it like having to eat in a diner really?”
Good thing I finally had my chance to experience this kind of foodplace. And this was when we spent a weekend in Boracay few weeks ago. As I saw this one, Johnny Rockets, I really got excited and felt glad that the place is great and cozy. Also, I expected it to be crowded by that time since it’s a Saturday evening but luckily, there were still few customers so we had a lot of options to choose which area we wanted to stay and be totally comfortable.
See? The place is just so vibrant! I love how it gives you retro style feels. I swear I could even stay here the whole night! 😀
And on some tables, you could find this mini vintage jukebox that’s so adorable! We actually thought that we could play a music by putting a coin in this one but the staff said that it’s just for display.
Obviously, we chose this table because it’s the one nearest to the outside area. And I think it was a good choice because not only did we enjoy the perfect ambiance of the place, and the cold weather that evening, we also had fun looking into random people and stuff.
If you’re one who loves burgers, fries, and shakes, then this would be one of your happy place! 😀
And this one is the true jukebox! 😀 You could play a music you like by just putting a coin in it and selecting the song. So fun!

And for dinner, we each had this “Half Pound Grand Canyon Burger”. Perfect taste! It would really make your tummy full and very much satisfied! 😀
We both really enjoyed our experience here in Johnny Rockets. The staff were so much friendly and accommodating, the food is great, overall service is perfect! We’d surely go back here and try another burgers when we visit Boracay again. 😉
