Ever since Jose and I started learning booking flights, setting up itineraries, and enjoying new places together, we couldn’t help but crave for some more. But of course it’s not easy as it seems given that every travel would involve an amount of money as well as time allocation which is actually harder now because we both have work commitment. But, looking at the brighter side of things, we become more open to adventure and eager to see new things. If there’s a will, there’s a way, so we always make sure to save up whenever we have an upcoming travel and prepare ourselves financially, emotionally, and physically! 😀

After our 2nd Boracay trip last November 2015, (which I will share on a separate blog post) we just knew that we had to come back again the following year so we’re set to go on November 2016. But fortunately, his sis, Ate Ana, spent her month-long vacation back here in the Philippines while she’s still on leave from her work in Australia. And so we got the chance to fly to Boracay and have some quality time together!

The first morning there was spent chilling, eating by the beach, looking at people passing by, and just appreciating the environment.

Johnny Rockets’ Vanilla Milkshake is just the bomb! We promise to ourselves we won’t ever leave Boracay without having this!

We went there last Feb 9-12, 2016 just in time for Valentine’s celebration and it was also unexpectedly Chinese New Year so prices and fees were really higher than usual.

And while we were taking a stroll in the evening, we happen to pass by this merchandise store selling mostly t-shirts. And not just ordinary ones. As you can see, they also offer customized designs. These amazing artists can transform a certain picture or even just from imagination and creatively paint it on the tees. Such talent!

We had this four-cheese pizza for dinner while we watched fire dancers perform then ended the night with a few drinks.

Shout-out to their Scuba diving instructor Ms. Zhantal Que for being so accommodating and friendly to us! 😀

Kindly do yourselves a favor and don’t leave Boracay without going to Jonah’s Bar and have the best fruit shake in Boracay! There are so many flavors to choose from and as far as I can remember, their Choco-Banana combi is one of the bests!

We’re really glad we got the chance to push this getaway even though it was last minute planning. Here’s to many more firsts and many more memories for us together!

Here’s a short video compilation of our Boracay 2016 adventure. Enjoy watching! 😀
